2. Scope and legal basis

We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP/revDSG) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We only process data that is necessary and for the purposes described below.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you visit the site, the hosting provider automatically collects and stores technical information in server log files that your browser transmits, such as IP address, date and time of the request, browser type and operating system. This data is used solely to ensure operation, security and stability of the website and is not merged with other data sources.

4. Contact form

When you use our contact form, we process the data you provide (name, email address, and optionally company/organisation and phone number) as well as your message in order to handle your enquiry. To protect the form against spam and abuse we use a honeypot field, a server-side time check and a temporary, in-memory rate limit based on your IP address; we also use Cloudflare Turnstile (see section 6).

Your message is delivered to us by email via Resend (see section 6). The legal basis is the handling of a pre-contractual measure at your request and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. We retain enquiry data only as long as necessary to process your request and to comply with statutory retention obligations.

5. Cookies and local storage

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. We store a single preference (your chosen light/dark theme) in your browser's local storage; this stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a technically necessary token to verify that requests originate from a human.

6. Web analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous usage of our website (e.g. page views). Vercel Analytics is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies or collect personally identifiable information; no cross-site visitor profiles are created.

7. Processors and data transfers

We engage carefully selected service providers (processors) who process data on our behalf and under contract:

• Vercel Inc. — website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics
• Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) — delivery of contact-form emails
• Cloudflare, Inc. — spam protection via Turnstile

8. Data retention

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods, after which it is deleted.

9. Your rights

Subject to the applicable law, you have the right to information about, correction, deletion and restriction of the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability and to object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Switzerland: the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, FDPIC).

10. Data security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. This website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted TLS (HTTPS) connection.
